Tubular Cast On for Single Rib

This tubular cast on works well with a K1 P1 rib. It makes a nice edge at the beginning of single rib and matches well to tubular bind off.

If worked in two colors, it is my preferred cast on method for brioche stitch.

Grafting Single Rib

This demonstration shows grafting of single rib knit stitches. The stitches from a provisional cast on are on the top, and the live, working stitches are on the bottom. Make sure you also pay attention to the sequence of working the top and bottom stitches together, as it will not work if they are not lined up correctly.
